SimScale Hits the 100,000 Users Mark

Simscale for June 2017Five years after it’s launch, SimScale announced that their engineering cloud platform has reached 100 000 users. In 2013, the company was launching the world’s first cloud-based simulation platform, making a big step towards democratization of the engineering simulation. Their goal was to enable every engineering to design better products faster. To get closer to that goal, in 2015, the company has announced the launch of its Community Plan, which grants free access to the full functionality of the platform to any user willing to share his projects publicly. According to SimScale, this decision was an important enabler of reaching the 100 000 users milestone. The SimScale community library now consists of over 1,000 high quality, publicly available simulation projects, which can be used for free as templates when working on an individual simulation setup.
